What's the difference between BioFlex banana and PTFE ?
Well...BioFlex is coming already formed with a bent shaft, and you only have to screw-on a top ball. The advantage of this is that the BioFlex banana will sit straight into your navel, while with PTFE, you have to give it a bend in the right direction from time to time, and the lower jewelled ball has tendency to face on the side and need regularilry to be put right. BioFlex put an end to these problems...plus you can get it in a pure form transparent for fresh and healed piercings or in UV colours for healed piercings giving you a amazing choice of combinations with UV colours, titanium colours for the top ball and jewels !

Safety and comfort ! This barbell is great for nipple, ear cartilage and lobe piercing, and other piercings. An important safety feature is being introduced here with the Push-fit system. One of the balls are attached to the bar, and the other one is fitted by just pushing it onto the bar to obtain a tight fit. In the unfortunate event that you badly catch your piercing, the ball will pop out and you will avoid damage to your piercing ! You might loose the ball, or may be not, but at the price these push-fit balls are sold on this page, it's really not worth taking the risk, don't you think ?

In addition, BioFlex is a transparent steam sterilisable medical grade plastic, ultra-light, flexible and adjustable in length using a simple cutter blade ! Recommended to help healing your piercings ! The push-fit system is not recommended for tongue piercing.

BioFlex™ Push-Fit Disc Sold By Pair !

The BioFlex push-fit discs are adaptable on the BioFlex shafts and will help securing hide its and labrets when applicable -not advised for the tongue piercing. You might also be able to use them with metal bars or labrets..just try them !

We have included some examples of use in a pop up window when you click on the picture..their transparence will help you get optimum results !

They are small, between 3.5mm and 4mm overall diameter round, and you can choose in the drop down menu below the gauge you want to use it with.

They are sold by pair, so the price is for 2 of them !

BioFlex™ Plain Push-Fit Balls

The BioFlex push-fit balls are adaptable on the BioFlex shafts and will help securing hide its, labrets and all types of BioFlex bars when applicable but not advised for the tongue piercing. Useful also when you need an ALL BIOFLEX bar or banana to go to hospital where metal cannot be worn. They are insert by presuure, and hold just enough for your piercing. They can be considered as good safety devices for your piercing if you catch it, as the ball will pop out under a good shock, and it is always better to loose a ball than ripping your piercing, don't you think ?

Perfect if you already have 1.2mm threaded jewelry that you would like to convert to BioFlex, or you can choose in the Accessory section 1.2mm threaded items and screw them onto these bars.... but also usefull if you need a long bar or cut it to different lengths to obtain several custom sizes..

Surgical Steel Threading Tool

Affordable and highly practical, this tool has been designed to ease the task to create threads onto 1.6mm and 1.2mm BioFlex or PTFE bars or shafts.

These are used by professional piercers as they can be sterilised, and contains no knurling around hence more hygienic and less risk of intrusion in the gloves used by piercers.

One end has a 1.2mm thread and the other end has a 1.6mm thread.

it is particularly useful if you have a number of bars to thread ...and it makes it easier to screw on any accessory when the BioFlex or PTFE is in the piercing.

This Ultra Light BioFlex self threading ball is designed to be used on metal bars only . It can be usefull for tongue piercing for the bottom ball to avoid damaging your teeth, but also adapted for all types of piercing where you want to keep your metal bar or banana but want to render you piercing less visible.

This ball is proposed here in different sizes, and you can just screw them onto your existing 1.6mm, 1.2mm and 2.4mm threaded metal bars. The thread will be created inside the ball as you screw the ball on and will hold strongly !.
