PTFE is a Polytetrafluoroethylene (P.T.F.E.) bar base adapted to fit all
the different types of metal end pieces currently available in piercing
jewelry - like Gold, Titanium, Surgical Steel, etc...

What are the benefits of PTFE?

- Totally Flexible

It will bend with your body tissues unlike all metal jewelry.
It provides comfort never before experienced in body piercings.
It will reduce the shocks if you catch your piercing.
A must for sports or pregnant people with piercings!

- Avoid allergies

Being one of the least allergenic materials, P.T.F.E. is used
in the medical industry to make Heart Valves! (and other surgical implants)..
The body will normally accept P.T.F.E. without problem. Should there be a
problem of allergic reaction or rejection to conventional metal jewelry,
it is likely that PTFE Body jewelry is now a practical choice for that person under
any circumstances.

-Non-stick

Nothing can stick to P.T.F.E.. Unlike metal piercing media,
the lymph produced by your body will not stick to P.T.F.E. Your piercings
will heal faster. Typically, we have found healing times halved when PTFE
jewelry is used.

Can be Sterilised with Autoclave

Resists high temperatures without melting. PTFE jewelry can be sterilised using
the same methods as for metal. It also cools quicker than metals!

Ultra-low Heat Conductor

It can be worn comfortably and safely in direct strong sunlight without the sun's heat being conducted to the sub-cutaneous tissues
surrounding the piercing. Healing is not inhibited, and there is no risk of
heat damage to healed tissue. You can now enjoy the sunshine!

Fully Adjustable!

A simple pair of scissors is all that is needed to adjust the bar
to the exact size of your piercing !

Veratile!

PTFE bars will not only fit our jewelry attachments, but all
conventional standard 1.6 mm threaded accessories that you may already own!
Simply screw-on your accessory (balls, spikes, etc..) on to a PTFE bar.
It will create a thread on the bar and will hold strongly!
